Description

A vision of a female robot, a cyborg of type, without legs and miraculously being held up in fact, by a simple, red, cape-like garment or blanket, like a muleta, that she holds similarly to a “corrida de torros”. With reference to Mexican bullfighting, this female cyborg stands but does not stand at all. She is ushering in the calmness of the desert while patiently waiting. Surrounded by cacti, she is balanced and motionless yet the garment, while delicate, is strong and somehow holding her entire structure up from falling. A plain pencil drawing with colored pencil adornment, on an 8.5″ x 11″ paper. Fits nicely in an 11″ x 17″ frame and comes with a custom cut matte board for framing.
