Description
To honor the Year of the Snake, this piece reveals the snake as the Eye Creature’s shadow. She sheds and walks ahead despite gently gripping past known comforts. No longer being worn, she now proudly exposes her openings—like the softness in the red drape she drapes. In the distance, the Aspen trees watch, quiet and aware. The mountains are a calm force that weave through her like an umbilical cord, binding her to the journey of finding beauty, of beholding the alchemy, and becoming embodied.
Shedding may not just be the release of the non-vital but allowing a hollow space to wait. She’s crowned to remain in faith. While seeking beauty in one white rose, she balances. Between her soft, fleshy blanket, and a stairway to the mechanical world.
